Burmese Gilt Carved Wooden Buddha

Circa 1900 or slightly earlier, once housed in a monastery, this is a carved likeness of a monk honored for achieving three levels of enlightenment, these levels are represented by the wooden three-tiered base decorated with inset glass fragments.
