First quarter 18th century, export porcelain for the Dutch market, the anhua decorated plate is centered with the coat-of-arms of Baron von Herzeele, a manager of the East India Company who ordered a complete service so decorated.

Black light examination indicates areas of touch-up to correct a hairline; several small areas of gilt loss.
