(London: MacMillan & Co., Ltd., 1913-14), the initial limited edition of 1,050 in 20 volumes, signed "Rudyard Kipling" by the author on the title page of the first volume, quarto (9.75 x 6.5 in.), publisher's original blue paper boards with creme linen spine having paper title plate, pages of hand-made paper with gilt top edge, untrimmed fore edge and bottom, each book bound with an extra title plate inserted next to the endpaper.
