North Carolina Inlaid Federal Sideboard

Late 18th century, Piedmont region, walnut, yellow pine secondary, rectangular form with projecting central block over two graduated drawers flanked by two deep drawers, the left fitted as a bottle drawer, each drawer with lightwood line inlay, raised on tall tapered legs each inlaid with patera above line inlay.

Top has been off, cut, and reset but appears to be original; pulls replaced; some drawer runners and guides replaced; right rear lower foot has a 5 in. splice to the inside original leg.; right deep drawer has a lower 1 in. trim replacement.
