North Carolina, circa 1800, walnut, yellow pine secondary, dovetailed case, hinged lip lid, interior with central fan carved prospect door with removable hidden compartment, flanked by reeded book drawers, flanked by four serpentine front drawers to each side, lid supported by candle size loper drawers, four graduated liped drawers flanked by fluted square columns, raised on later ogee feet, three quarter length dust boards.
