A charming scene featuring a small traveling fair outside a provincial French town. The scene centers around a Punch & Judy show, alongside another tent featuring a storyteller with character dolls. While spectators gather before the tents, a group of young boys bowl and several others populate the remaining grounds. The porcelain dial clock face is housed in a church tower, with the works behind. The clock is crafted to chime on the hour and half-hour. Key is present.
Craquelure; scattered minor touch-ups visible under black light; some scuffing and chips to frame; clock is not in working order. Please see Terms and Conditions of Sale: Clocks and Watches.
