The spine of the weapon's single fuller blade is maker-marked "R. M&S.B" for Robert Mole & Sons, Birmingham while both sides of the upper blade and one side of the scabbard drag are stamped with Tiffany's "TC" cartouche. Steel and iron construction save the wire-bound leather grip.
35.5 in. blade; 41.5 in. overall with scabbard
A scarce Civil War saber.
Areas of light rusting and abrasions from cleaning throughout; leather intact, yet crazed with expected chipping.
