18th century, (25) pieces to include; a lidded teapot (6.5 in.) (tiny chips to rose finial and 1 in. area of roughness to base rim); a waste bowl (3 x 6 3/8 in.); a cream jug; a lidded sugar; (2) low serving bowls ((1.5 x 7.25 in.); (6) tea bowls (several with rim wear although not chipped), (6) saucers, (6) tea cups. All with early Worcester underglaze mark to bottom.
Estate of the Late Dorothy G. Hale & Co., Chicago, IL and by descent.
Deaccessioned from the Art Institute of Chicago and purchased by the consignor's aunt in the 1960s.
