The first by F. & H. Clark (working Augusta, GA circa 1830-1840), with pseudo hallmarks and "J" monogram (9 in., 2.2 troy oz.); and the second retailed by Gregg, Hayden & Co. of Charleston, likely made by Gale & Hayden in New York, die mark dated 1846, bright-cut engraved monogram (7 in., 1.25 troy oz.).
