Japanese Ivory Okimono of a Old Man with Gourd

Early 20th century, standing figure with finely carved facial detail and attention to his clothing, holding a bamboo walking stick and wearing a straw rain hat, the figure stands on an ivory base that is secured to a wooden base with wavy carved sides.

HOA: 8.25 in.

Good condition, small loss to spot on top of hat and crack spot in center of base probably from pressure of metal secures, pen mark underneath coat (not visible unless you look for underneath).
