Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Circa 1890s, the mount of each image has a facsimile signature of its subject above the imprinted logo of Brisbois, Mosher Gallery, Chicago. Miss Oakley's portrait is of particular interest in that she is shown wearing her medals while having a pair of ivory-handled pistols at her feet.
Each print has a tiny marginal crease and corner bumps to the mount; Oakley's photo has two shallow pushes in the right field visible only when angled; two spots of old tape residue to the backs; overall very good condition.
