Rear Admiral Frank Schofield's Fore and Aft Bicorne Hat

WWI era or later, beaverskin with gold bullion, the silk liner stamped by H. V. Allien & Co., New York, with original tin box also stamped by Allien & Co.. Included is a watercolor profile of Frank Schofield dated "July 1892." He received his ensign's commission that year and retired in 1933.

Some light soiling to bullion and silk, else excellent condition; the hat's tin case with normal chipping to the black paint.
