New England Paint Decorated Late Classical Chest of Drawers

Circa 1830-40, Maine or New Hampshire, white pine, scalloped back splash, two upper set back side by side glove drawers above a long projecting upper drawer above three long drawers flanked by applied half columns raised on tall 10.5 in. turned legs.

Replaced pulls, but possibly containing original pulls; two top surfaces cleaned with paint loss; break and repair to one scroll on back splash; shrinkage crack to right side case.
