Chinese Carved Giltwood Architectural Element

Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), Chinese characters translate right to left as "Red Phoenix Mountain," perhaps once hung in a temple, the entire elaborate stylized pagoda form is gros relief carved on four tiers, featuring Taoist deities and auspicious symbols, birds, animals, fruit, and flowers, with iron red and black highlights throughout.
