Cobalt guilloche enameled egg with gilt silver mounts and red stone, opens to reveal a silver gilt firebird on lapis base, the whole raised on a silver gilt base on four legs with faux pearl mounted feet, the underside marked "The Faberge Firebird Egg, house of Igor Carl Faberge, Copyright 87 FM .925 Sterling," with key wind music box, presented on velvet lined base with mahogany cover.
