In the 18th century style, bearing a circa 1730 French silver hallmark for Metz and a shield form hallmark dated 1870. The tankard features a domed cover with applied Maria Theresa thaler, the cylindrical body with (11) various coins applied, lion sejant form thumb guard, the whole raised on three lion couchant feet.
