Attributed to Thomas Day, Milton, NC, circa 1850, mahogany, mahogany veneers, yellow pine and poplar secondary, upper ogee drawer above a pullout fall front writing desk featuring a divided interior with birds-eye maple veneer above two long drawers with book matched veneer, flanked by convex applied columns and raised on stylized acanthus carved feet.
