North Carolina Semi-Tall Chest of Drawers

Circa 1800, Piedmont region, walnut, yellow pine secondary, two upper side-by-side tombstone lipped drawers above four graduated lipped drawers, flanked by fluted quarter columns, raised on ogee bracket feet.

Indecipherable pencil inscription to upper left side of interior cabinet.

Replaced hardware; the second large drawer with patch to lower left corner; the fourth drawer with patch to upper right hand corner; the lower drawer has a one inch patch across the top border; replaced feet.
