18th century, unmarked oval silver case, with bail for hanging, double sided; one side depicting Madonna of the Sacred Heart, painted on metal under glass; verso with depiction of an unidentified saint visited by angel which appears to be painted on unknown surface; under beveled glass, with later metal stand.
