Rare Nepalese Jeweled Wall Sculpture

Circa 1700, rectangular form of silver gilt, the center with eight armed god of carved reddish quartz, within a later niche, flanked on either side by two male and female figures with carved stone features; the entire frame with filigree scrollwork, semi-precious jewels, repousse and chased figures of dragons, elephants, horse and lion with ruby fringe above, all self- framed with rosette form jeweled decoration.
