Pair of Continental Porcelain Portrait Plaques,

The first after a self portrait of Elisabeth Louise Vigee Le Brun (1755-1842), unsigned; the second after Vigee Le Brun's portrait of Countess Sophie Potocki, signed "Bauer;" although the porcelain plaques are unmarked aside from "15," the fine quality of the painting is reminiscent of KPM, both housed in an Art Nouveau style gilt composition frame with velvet liner.
