With acid-etched Solingen blade signed "W. H./ Horstmann / & Sons / Philadelphia" on ricasso and stamped with "King's Head" hallmark; additional blade etchings consist of patriotic motifs, "US" and "E. PLURIBUS / UNUM"; wire wrapped sharkskin grip, heavily gilt pommel and guard; with original leather scabbard.

The scabbard is in two parts and missing one metal band, light abrasions and wear to the hilt and guard.
