Pennsylvania Paint Decorated Dower Chest

18th century, white pine dovetailed case, lid hinged with hand-forged strap hinges having a heart terminus, interior with till, original crab lock with key, the front and sides of the case are decorated with mustard reserves, the front dated "AD 1772 RCM" and the sides with a quatrefoil, quarter fans highlight the corners.
