French School (18th c.), Portrait of Louis XV

Oil on canvas (lined), unsigned, half length, resembling a portrait by Hyacinthe Francois Y Ros Rigaud (France, 1659-1743) but depicting an older king, inscribed along the top "Louis dit Monseigneur Dauphin de France Fils / de Louis le Grand," presented in an antique ebonized Dutch style frame with gilt fillet.
