19th Century German or Austrian Cavalry Painting

Circa 1840s - 1860s, oil on wood panel, a cartouche reading "Joseph Kirmer" and flanked by two floral sprays is placed over a scene in which four mounted dragoons return to an opulent combination stable-and-barracks. The verso is stamped with an indecipherable coat-of-arms.
