The first scroll is a three-section painting on paper; the upper painting is a calligraphy painting outlining the title and inscription, the second is a landscape painting in the Wu Changshuo school style with an inscription in flying grass calligraphy in the upper right corner, and the third section is a calligraphy poem. The lower section is signed and each has artist seal marks (DOA 61.5 x 18 in.; the three stacked paintings together 29 x 12 in.); the second scroll is an ink and wash bamboo painting on brown silk and is signed in the lower right corner. The painting has scattered red collector seal marks in the bottom corners. Above the painting is an ink on blue paper panel with a calligraphy title; the panel appears to be a later panel and has an artist seal mark. Both are mounted stacked together on a cream colored silk mount (DOA 69 x 17.5 in.; the two stacked paintings together 25 x 12.5 in.).

There in toning ad minor staining on the first painting, and the silk mount is stained; the second scroll has foxing on the silk mount and the painting has scattered early creases in the silk.
