19th century, mahogany veneers, possibly rosewood secondary, the adjustable rectangular glass is mounted between fully turned columns having metal Corinthian capitals with ball finials and decorated with rosettes. The stand with three side-by-side drawers with rosette knobs, raised on applied bun feet.

28 x 27 x 12 in.

Drawer retains paper label "Chrysler Museum at Norfolk " and "Dressing Mirror, Chinese c. 1820. Gift of Anne Rowland."

Glass replaced; some cracks to carved liner on mirror; silver mounts are likely plated and coated with a varnish which is now deteriorating.
