Circa 1870, overall red painted field on the dove-tailed case high-lighted by hand-painted floral clusters to the lid and front center, mustard painted line detail, the interior with till (lacking lid), applied bracket foot base.

Hinge break-out with repair and new hinge; clasp for original lock missing; slight loss to right rear foot; minor paint losses.
