W. L. Ormsby's "Declaration of Independence"

19th century, self-published by W. L. Ormsby, after John Trumbull's celebrated painting, a numbered silhouette key in the lower margin identifies all of the Declaration signers as they appear in the composition. The print is laid down to canvas on a stretcher, this being placed behind a separate gilt border under glass within a wooden frame.
