Model 1840 Ames Light Artillery Saber

Dated 1860 on the ricasso, Ames Cicopee Mass mark on the other side, 32 in. blade, 39 in. overall, brass guard and pommel, leather and wire wrapped wooden grip, iron scabbard.

Original surfaces as found; grip leather and wire intact; light oxidation to the ferrous elements. Overall a fine example.
