French Figural Clock with Picault Sculpture

Early 20th century, cast bronzed metal on a green marble plinth, the work with an integral title - "La Pensee Brisant Ses Chaines" - and signed "E. Picault" to the side, the work depicts Prometheus Unbound, the rock upon which he sits incorporates a time and strike clock with brass movement and a hand painted porcelain dial.
