Two Rare E. B. White Signed Books with Provenance

Offered are octavo 1970s Harper & Row editions of STUART LITTLE and CHARLOTTE'S WEB, each signed "E B White" on the the illustrated frontis.

By descent from Margaret Nell King Teague, St. Louis, Missouri

White avoided the limelight and generally would not accommodate autograph hounds. In the mid-1970s, however, St. Louis teacher Margaret Teague was vacationing in Maine and not only visited White's home, but managed to get him to sign these two books.

Very fine shelf condition overall; some light foxing and two small splits to the STUART LITTLE dustjacket.
