Circa 1880 to 1920. the first of flattened oval shape with flat oval base, carved with a squirrel beneath a pine tree, the coloring of the agate defining the ground, the well-hollowed bottle contains some snuff residue and features an agate top with brass spoon (3 in.); the second snuff is a pebble agate of free form, the swirling blue grays of the stone contrasting with the green glass and brass spoon top (LOA 1 3/8 in.).
