Early 20th century, housed in an American made mahogany case featuring beveled glass front and sides, the case with palladium pediment supported by fully turned fluted Corinthian columns, the repousse brass and silvered metal face with applied Arabic numerals is surmounted by a moving moon phase, seconds bit above center with silent-chime switch, the glass waist door reveals (13) silvered tube chimes, the case raised on robust paw feet. The 3-weight driven 8 day quarter striking German brass movement is stamped "Math. Bauerie ST. Georgian Germany 1122025" and plays 7 tunes, the selector located in the upper right. Inside back of case is stamped "167" and the seatboard "4.13.28".
