Important Pisgah Forest Vase, NC Pottery

Swelled form, the upper half matte glazed and pate sur pate decorated with the Christmas procession scene complete with castle, heralds, jester and roast turkey. The bottom half is glazed in a high gloss sage green, the bottom is hand-signed "W.B. Stephen" also with impressed stamp and date 1949.
