Federal New York Carved Sofa

Early 19th century, relief carved mahogany frame, the gently back swept crest rail with centered tablet flanked by reeded panels, the reeded arms terminate in rosettes above turned and reeded arm supports, raised on eight legs with casters. Fine contemporary rose-tone upholstery with down filled cushion.
