Circa 1800, mahogany, mahogany veneers, light wood inlay, having a strongly shaped top above central divided drawer over two cabinet doors flanked by convex cabinet doors, raised on straight tapered legs highlighted by string inlay.
39.5 x 72 x 29.5 in.
Note the "bookend" inlay to the upper part of each leg, a decorative feature to many New York furniture pieces.
Some veneer chips, loss, and lifts; some inlay loss and repair; felt lining to drawer deteriorating; keyhole escutcheons missing.
