Set of Nine Coalport Fish Plates, circa 1889

Each with shaped and molded rim featuring koi fish and seaweed in underglaze cobalt blue and stylized coral decoration in gilt, the well features stylized seaweed in gilt to outer edge and gilt medallion to center, green underglaze backstamp to each plate, each also with 132242 registry mark, also with impressed pattern number and decorator marks.

From the Estate of Peter J. Joyce, an interior decorator working in New York City during the mid-20th century.

Several with tight hairlines, all with crazing (mostly minor).
