19th century, a basin hand-decorated with two beauties in a garden, the inside rim of the bowl with characters which likely describe the ladies (5 x 14.5 in.); the second a tall baluster vase depicting courtesans at leisure in a landscape setting, the verso with poetry. (16.5 in.).

Small area of rust to basin rim; vase with likely original roughness to the unglazed foot ring.
