Federal Carved Sofa

Early 19th century, Mid-Atlantic, mahogany frame with a reeded crest rail centering a rectangular frieze, the slightly down sloped reeded arms terminate in scrolls and rest atop baluster supports, the ring-turned tapering four front legs terminate in brass caps, three rear legs as made. Upholstered in light green velvet with brass nail trim.
