Rare Eight Panel Lithophane Lamp

Circa 1880, (8) German lithophanes on an American majolica base, featuring eight figural scenes. (7) lithophanes marked "PPM" (Prensaich Porzellen Manufaktur; Plauen, Germany), one lithophane marked "P.R.," lamp base marked "Avalon Faience Balt" (David F. Haynes & Co. of Baltimore). Each lithophane measures 5.16 x 4.25 in.
