Early 20th century, the lid with a playing card motif, six interior compartments contain the following items: miniature editions of Walter Scott's THE LADY OF THE LAKE and LAY OF THE LAST MINSTREL; (2) small lidded boxes; pin cushion showing the Burns Monument, Edinburgh; needle holder with ferns over tartan; a cardholder; folding notepad; (6) small sewing articles.
