French Art Deco Sofa

Circa 1920, in the manner of Dominique burl-wood and ebonized veneers wrap a supported 'U' shape frame which holds a black leather upholstered seat.

Purchased from Ritter Antik, 35 E. 10th St., New York, N.Y., a leading specialist in Art Deco and Biedermeier furniture.

"Dominique" is a combined name of two French designers, Andre Domin (1883 Ð 1982) and Marcel Genevrier (1885 Ð 1967).

Later upholstery, some chipping and loss to veneers; loose back cushion (loose cushion solved by pressing sofa to wall).
