Ornate Art Deco Kingfisher Headband

Likely French, early 20th century, composed of a multi-layered brass band covered with applied brilliant turquoise Kingfisher feathers edged with metal filigree.

14 in. long; 1 3/8 in. at widest

Similar to a headband worn in the 1987 movie "The Last Emperor" .

Some loss to feathers revealing underlying brass.
