Southern Painted Wardrobe, circa 1800

Poplar, possibly North Carolina, the case with applied cove molded cornice over two doors each with three raised molded panels within a molded frame flanked by chamfered corners, raised on a spurred bracket foot base. The right halves of the interior shelves were reduced to allow space for hanging garments.
