On deckle-edged wove paper, each titled and signed in pencil along the lower margin. Titles are "Chowan County Court House, Edenton, North Carolina" and "North Carolina State Capitol, Raleigh." Sheets are 15.75 x 13.25 in. framed to an overall 17.5 x 14.75 in.

By direct descent from the collection of John E. Tyler, II, Bertie County, North Carolina

The Edenton print has even overall toning and a paperclip impression on the right edge; the Raleigh print has light marginal soiling and old tape residue in the upper left corner.
