Group of Nine Dip Pens and Ivory Pen Tray

Some gold or gold-filled, (5) with mother-of-pearl handles, (2) with agate handle, (2) with ivory handles one of these having a Stanhope of Lourdes. The pen tray is carved and has incised and tinted prunus branch decoration (1.5 x 8 x 3 in.)

5.5 in. to 7 in. long

The shafts of (6) pens tested as 6-8 KT gold.

Some ink stains to the pens; pen tray shows a shadow where a small square box was attached.
