Late 19th century, dore bronze and marble, charming well-balanced modeling of three cherubic children "tying" a "ribbon" around long stemmed flowers, four of which hold candle lights. Engraved on the bottom "Gagneau Made in France." Marble plinth has small hole for electrical wiring.

The firm of Gagneau Frres was established in 1800 at Rue d'Enghien 25, Paris. They exhibited at many of the international exhibitions in the 19th century, including the Crystal Palace Great Exhibition of 1851.

Overall very good condition with warm antique patination; in need of re-wiring.
