Engraved by Boetius Bolsert, circa 1610, an elderly woodsman woos a comely young lady while a monkey picks his pockets. In the background Cupid and Death unleash one another's arrows. Below the image are lines of verse in Latin and Dutch. Trimmed to the plate, 10.75 x 14 in., in wooden frame lacking glass.
