Pair of French Bronze Tone Sculptures, circa 1900

Idealizing the French proletariat - the first a "Faneuse" (haymaker) and the second a "Forgeon" (blacksmith). Both signed "Chr. Perron" and with applied gallery plaque and "Made in France" medallion.

Perron was awarded three medals at the Paris Salons and became an Officier d'Academie in 1894.

Some scuffing to warm brown patina.
